Scholarship Opportunities

Chapter Scholarships:
DFW Mid-Cities Chapter has created scholarships for students going to colleges and universities to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) careers. We are planning to award scholarships in the amount of $500-$1,500 each.

The DFW Mid-Cities chapter accepts applications from students attending an eligible high school or college within our chapter's boundaries. These scholarships have been made possible through generous donations and contributions made by our Sponsors and during our organization's fundraising events.

TSPE scholarships are competitive and are awarded on the basis of academic performance, activities/work experience, essay, recommendations, organization/neatness of application, and extraordinary accomplishments.

Past applicants have had interest in pursuing careers in civil, mechanical, aerospace, electrical, and environmental engineering, as well as urban planning, public policy, public safety, and emergency response.
